The cold rolling process is based on the hot rolling coil. Generally speaking, it goes through the hot rolling pickling cold rolling process.

Cold rolling is to use hot-rolled steel coil as raw material, after pickling to remove oxide scale, the finished product is hard rolled coil.

Due to the cold work hardening caused by continuous cold deformation, the strength and hardness of hard rolled coil increase, and the

toughness and plasticity index decrease. Therefore, the stamping performance will deteriorate, and can only be used for simple deformation parts.

The rolled coil can be used as raw material for hot galvanizing plant, because the hot galvanizing line is equipped with annealing line.

The weight of hard rolled coil is generally in the range of 20 ~ 40 tons. The hot-rolled pickling coil is continuously rolled at room temperature.

The advantages of cold rolling lie in its faster forming speed, high yield, and not easy to damage the coating. It can be made into a variety

of cross-section forms to meet the needs of various service conditions. Cold rolling technology can make steel produce great plastic deformation,

so as to improve the yield point of steel.

RELIANCE is one of the professional and largest suppliers of non-standard metal roll forming systems in the world. Xiamen Reliance Industry Co., Ltd is a manufacturer of higher level roll forming equipment, slitting line, cut to length line and tooling including roll tooling, uncoilers, coil upenders, flatteners, punching and cut-off presses, etc.
